Who We Are

The 3RB Company is an entrepreneur-led firm focused on thinking through thoughtful ownership transitions for founder and family owned businesses.

Great businesses are built around their people, customer relationships, and reputations earned over time. Our approach is grounded in preserving those strengths and supporting the long-term success of the business.

Founder

Solomon Rice is the founder of The 3RB Company. Prior to founding 3RB, Solomon worked in operating, advisory, and investing roles, supporting businesses and management teams across a range of industries.

Solomon founded 3RB because he wanted a more direct and personal way to work with business owners, understand what they have built, and support them as they think about what comes next.

Solomon holds a B.A. in Financial Economics from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Outside of work, he enjoys running, watching college sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Approach

Our approach begins with listening. We take the time to understand what has made a business successful, the people and relationships behind it, and what matters most to the owner as they consider what comes next.

From there, the focus is on continuity: preserving what works, supporting the team, and helping position the business for long-term success.
